This guide has been produced in consultation with regular users of videolaryngoscopes (many of whom are also trainers on national airway workshops) and from data supplied via the ongoing DAS videolaryngoscopy study.
It starts with a general introduction to videolaryngoscopy. Each of the videoscopes is then considered in detail with list price costings of the scope and disposables where appropriate (as at December 2010), some of the pros and cons of the particular device, top tips from regular users, some information about successful rescues and unexpected failures and finally news about future developments from the relevant manufacturer.
Please use the navigation bar at the top of the page to review the various videoscopes. Alternatively, you can download a PDF of the userguide from HERE.
